Highlander are pleased to announce their recent confirmation as an approved supplier to the Law Society of Scotland for our new Security Shredding Service, which was launched January 2016.
At the same time, we can also confirm that we have been accepted as fully audited members of the United Kingdom Security Shredding Association (UKSSA) after passing a stringent examination of our systems and procedures by an external auditor.
With regards to UKSSA membership, this now means we are part of a network of independent, professional security shredding companies operating in the UK meaning a consistency of service standards from all the members.
Stephen Duffy, Highlander Director commented: “With these vital new accreditations now achieved, coupled with the recent achievement of EN15713 and background screening of our shredding employees, we are now in a position to provide a market leading service up there with the large multi-national operators but at local, competitive prices. All collections of material are performed by uniformed operatives with ID badges, while at our fully secure shredding facility in East Kilbride, all material is tracked, checked and destroyed quickly and efficiently. We have now started 3 new staff to assist us in growing this side of the business and of course, to ensure that all customers receive a top quality service.
