These cabinets allow confidential waste to be stored securely prior to collection but more importantly, they restrict access to the confidential materials using a key lock system. This means the cabinets can only be opened by either the Highlander collection team or the nominated keyholders of your company.
These lockable units come with inner recyclable polythene bags which our collection team simply exchanges on a regular schedule.
There are 2 sizes of cabinets available – the standard cabinet measures 900*500*500mm and the junior cabinet measures 635*500*500mm, perfect for under a desk or a smaller office. This cabinet service also allows you to evidence that you are fulfilling your GDPR obligations.
With our costs being so competitive, we often find that potential new customers would like to start to use our services immediately, however when they speak with their existing supplier, they are unknowingly tied into a contract. A lot of other shredding companies will auto renew your contract so what was initially a 3 year contract, will turn into a 6 year one, unless you provide 3 months’ notice prior to your contract expiry date. All this happens without even contacting you for your approval!
At Highlander, we promise to contact each of one of our customers at your contract renewal and personally discuss the renewal with you!
We will always help and guide you as much as we can when you are speaking with your existing supplier to end your contract, and depending upon the terms and your cancellation fee, we may be able to assist with buying you out of your old contract so that you can start using our services quicker.
