A “Presentation Sensation” – Highlander hit the heights, at the Lanarkshire Business Awards presentations!
Highlander has been nominated as a finalist in the 2018 Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards, for 26 employees of more and some of the Highlander Clan recently gave a business presentation to a panel of esteemed judges, which will decide the actual winner of this most coveted prize! Stephen, Tracey, John and our man from Pakistan “Danny”, all attended the presentation which gave the judges a better insight of who Highlander are, what we do, who our markets and customers are AND why Highlander should win the title of Lanarkshire’s BEST business! The presentation was headed up by our Joint Managing Director Stephen Duffy, who was ably assisted by Tracey – who talked in detail about our shredding operations, John – who discussed the development of new markets and our ever-growing transport fleet and Danny – who discussed some of our International Sales to countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh and even Afghanistan! After the presentation, Stephen was grilled by the judges on both the presentation and initial application and we are pleased to say we came through it all with flying colours!
The winner shall be revealed on the evening of the Awards which is on Friday 2nd March and as always, we will keep you all up to speed on the events of the evening via our Facebook and Twitter pages!
