Emmy To The Rescue!

Highlander would like to congratulate our Office Junior, Emmy Fotheringham, who has successfully completed First Aid training earlier this month. Gaining this certificate means Emmy can now join our existing team of 3 first aiders on site, increasing our total to 4 – her certificate can be viewed here. She completed the 3 day course at a training centre in Glasgow, with this certificate lasting 3 years, and annual refresher training will be undertaken every year.

Emmy, who has been employed with Highlander for just over a year now, has also recently enrolled in a course for Human Resources & Law to enhance her skills, and to add to the HND she currently holds in Administration & IT. This is a 6 month course where Emmy will attend South Lanarkshire College for 1 day per week, every Thursday, for 6 months. At the end of the training she will have an NPA in Human Resources & Law, with the opportunity to continue onto the next level qualification. Highlander has funded all training and courses, and welcomes the opportunity to develop existing employees.
