Finn’s Competitions
Our sponsored cyclist, Finn Harrod, recently competed in the Scottish Championships and achieved a personal best in the Kilometre Time Trial. Finn also came 6th in Scotland which is an amazing achievement as this was his first time competing in this event. Finn had been training specifically for this event since the Summer so well done Finn…you’re hard work has paid off J
Finn is now looking forward to competing at the British Universities Championships down in Manchester on the 1st December. He won gold at this event 2 years ago and is aiming to replicate this again this year, but in Team Highlander colours this time.
Finn says “I am loving training and racing in my Team Highlander kit too. A cyclist and a recycling company is the perfect match and I love telling people about our relationship and how proud I am to represent the company! University is going well. I will have finished my first semester of my final year on the 12th of December, it’s gone by rather quickly. It means I will have lots of time to train over the Christmas period, and also train with my dad and brother on Christmas day (as is our tradition!)”
