Ideal for both domestic household shredding and businesses alike our bags take the same as a standard archive box and are the most flexible and widely used method of collecting confidential waste for shredding.
Our self-sealing paper bags are incredibly strong and designed not to split during lifting or handling, and they are fully recyclable.
Once you have filled your bags with papers and documents for shredding give us a call to arrange a suitable date and time for collection.

These lockable cabinets have inner bags which our collection team exchange on a fixed schedule.
We have two cabinet sizes. The standard cabinet measures 900*500*500mm and hold approximately the same as two standard archive boxes. Our junior cabinets measure 635*500*500mm and fit perfectly under an office desk, so ideal for smaller spaces. They can also be customised to reflect your company brand.
These locked cabinets allow confidential waste to be stored securely before collection. The cabinets can only be opened by Highlander staff or nominated key holders.
The cabinets are compliant with Data Protection and GDPR, protecting your staff, company and customers from any data breach.
Highlander, are able to provide a unique, cabinet wrapping service. We can tailor the cabinets to your exact office environment, with a range of different colours and bespoke design options. Bespoke designs are available on both cabinet sizes.
Our wheeled office bins offer secure storage for documents and papers awaiting shredding and can easily be manoeuvred around multiple areas and offices.
Our bins are locked and come with a “no return” slot on the lid, so the paper and documents can only be placed into the bin. Available in three sizes from 120L, 240L and 660L, depending on your confidential waste volumes.
With our costs being so competitive, we often find that potential new customers would like to start to use our services immediately, however when they speak with their existing supplier, they are unknowingly tied into a contract. A lot of other shredding companies will auto renew your contract so what was initially a 3 year contract, will turn into a 6 year one, unless you provide 3 months’ notice prior to your contract expiry date. All this happens without even contacting you for your approval!
At Highlander, we promise to contact each of one of our customers at your contract renewal and personally discuss the renewal with you!
We will always help and guide you as much as we can when you are speaking with your existing supplier to end your contract, and depending upon the terms and your cancellation fee, we may be able to assist with buying you out of your old contract so that you can start using our services quicker.
We offer a professional collection and offsite shredding solution, in our secure CCTV monitored destruction centre based in East Kilbride. With no messy, noisy or polluting onsite shredding trucks calling outside your premises, all to EN15713 standards.
